Spy Run Raises $3,600 for BPS Foundation

Anytime Fitness Bennington and Three Timbers Church teamed up to host the Fourth Annual Spy Run on June 8 at Bennington High School. More than 170 people of all ages participated in either a 1 mile or 4 mile run and raised $3,601 for the Bennington Public Schools Foundation’s Student & Family Impact Program.

This program provides information and resources to students and families on relevant issues that affect their school or personal lives, family relationships and emotional well-being. Specifically, funds raised from the Spy Run will benefit mental health awareness and suicide prevention initiatives in the school district.

Along with the hosts and runners, the event was supported by dozens of volunteers and sponsors from the community.

“It’s amazing to see the community come together to support the Foundation through the Spy Run each year,” said BPS Foundation Executive Director Regina Meradith. “From runners, to volunteers, to local business leaders, and of course Anytime Fitness and Three Timbers Church, we are truly grateful for these combined efforts to support Bennington students.”

Event sponsors included:
